BLACK BIRD MEDICINE Recently, I had a dream in which a blackbird with a purplish sheen to its head appeared inside the back window ledge of my car. I tried to help it escape through the window, but it didn't want to leave. I recognized this as a medicine dream, appropriate for this moment in time. I found many online references to Native American Blackbird Animal Medicine which together weave a great tale. My bird book describes the Brewer's Blackbird: black with a purplish sheen to the head, a purplish green sheen to the body and a white eye. MEANING: Creativity, Detail, Foundation "Blackbird medicine people love to sing and have the ability use their voice to heal and inform." Black Bird People are learning to use their gifts and talents to manifest their dreams into physical reality. Blackbird people have a talent that is ready to be released to the world, for all to see and hear. Blackbird is encouraging you to do it!
