Be not disappointed.
That moment,
that “holy instant” of revelation
when you were certain you were loved and safe,
is as near today as the sun
concealed behind a passing cloud.
Did the sun disappear?
Or did you merely look away,
distracted by some chore,
or wish for entertainment?
How fickle is a mind
that would turn away from Truth,
and cry out, “I have been abandoned!”
Go back!
Return once more in your mind,
to stand corrected,
connected, and wholly holy,
completed and joyous
that God is still here, within,
and fully present…
as you, by you and for you,
forevermore.
