"Rasur" or "The Week of Splendor" (Part 1)

Costa Rica disbanded its army in 1949, just a few years after the poem "Rasur or "Week of Splendor" was written in Spanish by Roberto Brenes Mesén. This prophetic poem, translated to English, tells the story of a master teacher, Rasur, who enters a mountain village and awakens the children to the ways of peace. The children's relationship with Rasur, opens the way to peace among all of the villagers. The poem became the basis of a proven, skills-based method for…

Hello Pushkara.... I will attend to my profile page very soon.  This week I got sick which is very unusual for me.  It has knocked me out for five days and I am still only 70% of my normal energy.  I am looking forward to running at a higher vibration and spending more time on your amazing web site.  Many Blessings to You, Donna

Dear Pushkara,

Where is the Peace sing taking place? I am out of work so really can't afford to travel. There's nothing I'd rather do and if circumstances change, I will. Let me know what the particulars are.

Peace and Love,

Sophia Tiers

Thank you for your warm welcome. I go by Emile and would be honored to share what I do, both in the world of songsharing and in the world of voca improvisation. I have been intrigued by your world up there in Port Townsend ever since I befriended mah main man Laurence. Now we get to connect even further.
Big Love,

Hi, Seesta, Thank you for you comments on my dear Mom. It's a special time. Yes, keeping it local for now-I understand that. I would love, love, love to come and see you-with work, family members wanting , don't know. Would love to make a trip , tho. What would be a good time for you if I could get away?

thank you< Pushkara. I love looking at the videos and photos which make me feel close to you and what you are engaged in. When do you hit the road outside of Washington? I just sang Mozart's Requiem with the santa fe symphony and chorus tonight-so beautiful-I dedicated it to my Mom, whose one year anniversary is coming up in a week.
