I stumbled across an article about what you are doing Mick and I know you are on the right path. I have been trying to de-clutter my life and live simply myself. A bit difficult to do with a large family but I'm taking it on as a personal committment.

I'm a Texan but live and work in Egypt. Hope to learn much from the discussions here and who knows, when I get back to the US, hope to come visit your center.
